This season sees the rise of pastels and feminine chic dressing, featuring elegant lengths and ladylike silhouettes that hark back to a decade long forgotten. The return of red was prominent too, with most designers featuring a pop of this colour in their latest collections.

Fashionistas and key industry personalities descended upon the Melbourne Docklands. The venue was bustling with activity with L’Oreal makeover tents, Ted Baker photobooth fun, Lavazza coffee tastings, plus drinks and canapés at the Rekorderlig bar. The festival’s principal makeup sponsor L’Oreal brought some international star power to the event by flying in Eva Longoria and a pregnant Megan Gale to Melbourne.
