Busy maneuvering your kitten heels up the career ladder? Continue doing what you do, girl friend, and let us take care of your beauty needs. Consider this your digital hit-list of all the serums and salves we’re coveting this week.

The following heroine products are well deserving of a slot in your vanity cabinet, and have, indeed, become permanent fixtures in ours. Bookmark this page for easy reference if you’re beauty shopping this weekend, and apologies in advance for availing you of a few coins from your purse!

1. Benefit's Big Easy, $60

If you've had enough of dewy BB creams, say hello to Benefit’s Big Easy. The fun-loving cosmetics company recently launched an anti-shine BB cream. With six self-adjusting shades and a powdery finish, this BB cream promises to keep your T-zones free from resembling a mirror finish. Perfect for babes with oily skin!

2. Laura Mercier Lip Glacé, $38

Glosses are so pretty but very annoying for people with long hair. Which may be the reason why Laura Mercier’s non-sticky finish lip glacé is perfect. Featuring eight new shades like poppy and azalea in its Summer collection, the ultra-shiny gloss will impart a perfect pout.

3. DrGL Cleanser Scrub, $88

Do not be fooled by its simple packaging. DrGL Cleanser Scrub boosts very small particles that help you remove those dead skin cells without having you feel like you’re scratching your own skin. The scrub also doubles up as a bacteria fighter and skin soother with the addition of phellodendron amurense bark and aloe leaf extract. Well, you won’t expect any less from aesthetician to the stars Dr Georgia Lee, right?

4. La Mer The Lifting and Firming Mask, $330

We’re loving this luxe leave-on skin treat for its very La Mer sensibilities. According to the good folks at the prestige beauty house, “everything about this mask is concentrated”, and you best believe it – its price most certainly is!

Ensconced in a reassuringly heavy glass jar, the poultice comes packed with what the brand calls Concentrated Lifting Ferment, essentially an amped up version of its legendary botanical broth. Slather it on with the supersoft accompanying brush, go about your business and massage in the excess to reveal what the brand promises will be a visibly lifted visage in the mirror.

5. Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick, $68

This creamy joy of a stick packs a whole lot of good stuff into a sleek lippie-shaped tube: Skin-comforting butters and moisture magnets like olive-derived squalane, for one, as well as cleverly encapsulated pigments that scatter the light for an infinitely flattering, soft-focus glimmer. Dot strategically on patchy areas which need a little camouflaging, and blend, blend, blend. No Instagram filters needed with this winner!

6. Sisley Sisleyouth, $240

Ah, Sisley: One of our personal go-to brands for a pampering pick-me-up, now available for the increasingly lucrative “aging youth” market. This frontier-pushing product zeroes in on nascent signs of aging with its alchemical medley of medicinals: Buckwheat seed to sop up free radicals, ginseng for fortification against fatigue, and ginkgo biloba for its reputed pore-tightening properties.

Anoint your cleansed face and decolletage with this satiny serum before your regular suite of moisturisers. The end game? Staving off invasive injectables for as long as is feasible.

Benefit Big Easy, $60, is available at all Sephora stores and at all Benefit Cosmetics counters from April 3. For more information, visit www.benefitcosmetics.com and follow the brand on Facebook.
