Do your bit to "Stop Violence Against Women" by sharing the White Ribbon badge and shopping at the Stella McCartney store at the Hilton hotel in Singapore | Images: Stella McCartney's Instagram/@StellaMcCartney, Showbit, Stella McCartney
In October 2013, we reported that Club21 held a bazaar in collaboration with Singapore Committee for UN Women in their campaign to stop violence against women.
Now, fashion designer and celebrity daughter Stella McCartney is rallying to do the same, wearing the campaign badge to the high-profile Vogue Fashion Fund dinner recently where she delivered the keynote address. Shoppers in Singapore, too, can support her campaign to “Stop Violence Against Women” – allyou have to do is shop.
Shoppers can post this badge on social media with the hashtags #WR4W, #WhiteRibbon, #VAW and #endVAW to spread the message.
Purchase an item at the Stella McCartney store at the Hilton hotel in Singapore anytime between November 15 and 29, 2014, and receive a White Ribbon badge designed by McCartney. Then share the badge on social media and tag @stellamccartney and @club21 with the hashtags #WR4W, #WhiteRibbon, #VAW and #endVAW.
The White Ribbon campaign was launched in 2012, coinciding with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women – symbolised by a white ribbon – on November 25 every year.
