You might not think the likes of Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian would have a lot in common.
But actually, they’re both the proud owners of headline-worthy and eagerly emulated eyebrows.
While the Duchess Of Cambridge’s arches are super-groomed and sleek, Kim’s are full and lustrously curved.
According to beauty industry watchers, 2012 has been hailed the year of the eyebrow – with statement brows taking centre stage on the Spring/ Summer and Fall/Winter 12/13 runways.
So if you fancy getting groomed, what’s the best way to go about it?
"Tend to your brows on a daily basis; it’s a lot easier to tweeze one or two stray hairs every day and maintain the correct shape, than doing it once a week," eyebrow guru Shavata advises Instyle.
“Remember brows are sisters not twins, if you try to make your brows identical you will end up plucking them to nothing.
"Always tweeze both eyebrows together taking a few hairs of each at a time; it is a lot easier as trying to mimic one brow shape after the other is very difficult."
Timing is key when it comes to achieving plucking perfection. Shavata advises tweezing after a hot shower, in natural daylight and never a week before or during your period when your pain threshold is not at its strongest.
"Always sit in front of a large mirror and use a magnified hand-held mirror, this gives you an overall realistic view and the hand mirror helps with the detail, move from mirror to mirror," Shavata adds. © Cover Media
