Looking for a style-savvy way to update your drab winter hair? Fancy kick-starting the year with a hot new look? Then why not think about changing your hair colour.
The big question is which hue to choose.
Josh Wood, Global Creative Director for Colour at beauty giant Procter & Gamble, is the mastermind behind several runway looks.
He knows what your hair should look like this season, at least if you want to be down with the fashion crowd.
Last year saw an array of shades, as everything from darkest black to pastel pink was hot.
And while the great variety still stands, this season also sees the rise of interesting colouring techniques.
“Instead of one full head of beautiful colour, opt for one part of the hair that has the exact right colour,” suggests Wood.
He adds: “At Louis Vuitton we had a whole palette of different blondes and whites.
“The colour isn’t for the faint-hearted. We used deep brown, silver grey and fuchsia, normally colours you wouldn’t see on the same head but the trend allows us to play.”
Wood not only coloured the models at the Vuitton show, he also worked on the Paco Rabanne display. There, he and his partner in style, Eugene Souleiman, gave models a masculine front and a luxurious pony tail at the back. © Cover Media
